INGREDIENTS Ingredients

Sago 1 cup
Potato 2
Green chillies 2 finely chopped
Ginger a small piece finely chopped
Capsicum 1
Carrot 1
Onion 1
Cheese cubes 2
Groundnut crushed 1 tbsp
Pizza sauce 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves little finely chopped
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Sugar ½ tsp
Salt according to taste
Butter 1 tbsp
Chilly flakes 1 tsp
Mixed herbs/ Oregano 1 tsp
Procedure:

Method Of Preparation

1.Wash the tapioca pearls (sago) properly and soak it overnight for 4 hours with appropriate water.

2. Boil the potatoes. Peel it and mash finely

3.Finely chop capsicum, carrot, onion

4. Grate the cheese

5. Now mix the soaked sago with finely crushed groundnut, mashed potatoes, salt , sugar, green chillies-chopped, little red chilly powder

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly

6. Make small balls (as in picture) and shape them into flst round patties so as to make our mimi pizza base.

7.Put little butter on a non stick tawa and place the sago pizza base on it.

8. Apply little pizza sauce on the upper part and spread the finely chopped veggies on it. Add the grated cheese on the vegetables (as shown in picture).

9. Cover the tawa with lid and on small flame let it cook till the base is cooked properlyand becomes crispier. It takes maximum of 5-8 min to cook

10. Sprinkle some oregano and chilly flakes on it and serve with sauce. A yummy sago pizza is ready.

Nutritive factor

Since we are preparing our pizza base with sago and not maida (which is harmful) , it is highly nutritive and healthy.
Its a great dish for kids as it is power packed with carbohydrates, protiens, vitamins and fibre.
