HEALTHY DHOKLA

INGREDIENTS
- sago...1 cup
- bhagar..2 cups
- green chillies...2 ..finely crushed
- ginger...1 small peice
- salt..acc to taste
- soda bi carb....1/2 tea spoon
- FOR SEASONING.........oil,mustard seeds ,curry leaves,turmeric...1/2 teaspoon,red chilly powder....1 teaspoon
- FOR GARNISHING......coriander leaves finely chopped,grated coconut,,roasted cumin powder...1 teaspoon, chat masala...1 tea spoon
Procedure:
- soak sago and bhagar seperately for 4 hours
- grind them seperately by adding green chillies and ginger and make batter
- mix both the batters and add salt and let it ferment for approx 4 hours
- grease the dhokla tray with oil. Add soda bicarb to the batter and let it rest for 5 min..then put the batter in dhokla tray.
- let it cook for 10 min...when it becomes cool...cut the dhokla into small square peices.
- now for seasoning...take a small pan,add little oil...put mustard seeds and curry leaves...put this on dhokla...add red chilly powder,turmeric ..mix well.
- for garnishing...decorate the dhokla with chat masala, grated fresh coconut and coriander leaves.
- serve with fresh coriander chutney.
Notes:
