Swadisht Vada

INGREDIENTS
- Sago (sabudana) - 2 cup
- Potatoes - 4 medium (boiled and mashed)
- Singhara flour - 1/2 cup
- Peanut- 1 cup (Rosted and coarsely ground
- Green chillies- 10 finely chopped
- cumin seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
- powderred rock salt - salt to test
- Fresh green coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- lemon - 1
- Oil - for deep fry.
Procedure:
- Alkapuri ColonyWash and soak 2 cup sabudana in water for about 1-2 hours.
- Drain up the water , sabudana double in size after soaking.
- take a big bowl add soaked sabudana , potatoes, singhara flour, peanut, green chillies, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, salt to test, chopped coriander and lemon juice.
- Mix everything well.(Image no.2)
- make 15-16 equal size balls from the Dough mixture.
- Take water in Palm and flattene the balls gently give shape of a Vada. Place them in a plate.
- Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry them.(Image no.3)
- Fry until golden both the side.
- Drain on kitchen paper
- Swadisht Vada is ready , serve hot with Yogart. (Image no.4-5)
Notes:
This product is very good. For soaking sabudana take only 1 hrs and sabudana duble in size after soaking.
